Salinas Area Widows

Ruth’s Shawl is developing a casual and comfortable environment for Salinas Area Widows to connect and share their lives and experiences with each other. The group meets twice a month – every second and fourth Sunday at 12:30-2:00 pm. A time of fellowship and prayer is provided each meeting, with a Bible study on the second Sunday of each month.

The Bible study will travel slowly through the book of Ruth – a story of two widows, Naomi and Ruth, whose trust in God was exemplified in their arduous journey towards healing and reconciliation. Each month’s Bible study will be published to this website. The March Bible study has been posted for Ruth 1:1-2. (If you do not have access to a bible, see the link and instructions at the end of this page. Bibles can be accessed online free of charge.)

It is the hope and prayer of Ruth’s Shawl that widows in the Salinas Area will find connection, comfort and confidentiality within this group, as well as direction and hope from the times of prayer and Bible study.
